That’s not good logic or reasoning. Schism exists when one rejects the authority of the Papacy. This does not mean a Pope can be a tyrant. The SSPX have never rejected the validity of the papacy, they have rejected unlawful acts by a Pope. There is a critical difference here. The Pope has no authority to abbrogate the Latin Mass. None. It was instituted by Jesus Christ and Pope Pius V said it could never be altered. A Pope cannot change the Sacraments for example. While Latin is important its not about language. It’s about changing the content of the Sacred Liturgy. One only has to look at the fruits to see that since Vatican Council and the establishment of the illicit Novus Ordo Mass that the vast majority of Catholics now reject one or more teachings of the Catholic Faith.

Guess we'll have to check this in a few years to see how well it holds up
